Required Supplies
- White Vinegar
- Scrub Brush
- Paper Towels
The Logic Verdict
Vinegar dissolves slime. Most kids’ slime is made with glue and borax. Vinegar breaks the chemical bond.
The Fix
- Remove Excess: Pick up as much as you can.
- Vinegar Soak: Pour white vinegar directly onto the slime. It will start to liquefy.
- Scrub: Use a scrub brush to work the slime out of the fibers.
- Blot: Blot with paper towels.
- Rinse: Rinse with water to remove the vinegar smell.
