  • Toothbrush

The Logic Verdict

Dish soap is key. Lipstick is grease-based. Laundry detergent isn’t strong enough on its own.

The Fix

  1. Don’t Rub: Rubbing pushes the wax deeper into the fibers.
  2. Dish Soap: Apply a drop of Blue Dawn Dish Soap directly to the stain.
  3. Tap: Gently tap the stain with a toothbrush to work the soap in.
  4. Rinse: Rinse with warm water.
  5. Wash: Launder as usual.
