Required Supplies
- Freezer
- Dull Knife
- Rubbing Alcohol
The Logic Verdict
Cold makes it brittle. Gum is impossible to remove when warm and sticky.
The Fix
- Freezer: Put the jeans in a plastic bag and leave them in the freezer for 2 hours.
- Scrape: Take them out and immediately scrape the gum off with a dull knife. It should pop off in chunks.
- Residue: If any sticky residue remains, use a little rubbing alcohol or Goo Gone (wash immediately after using Goo Gone).
