Giving the acid a full hour to dwell lets it dissolve the stain so a final wipe is enough to lift it.

Step-by-Step Removal

1. Pre-wipe the shoes. Dampen a microfiber cloth with water and quickly wipe off loose dirt or grass so the vinegar can focus on the actual stain.
2. Soak the rag with vinegar. Pour white vinegar onto the cloth and wipe the stained panels again. This primes the surface and starts loosening the pigment.
